The Call of Duty: World at War Multiplayer Beta has been released. The official web site explains:

Through the Multiplayer Beta, players will experience Call of Duty: World at War's new multiplayer features including:

  • Player rankings
  • Upgradeable weapons
  • Squad-based gameplay
  • Customizable classes and Perks
